The cover design on our full-colour November 2022 issue is a versatile chunky jumper with a low crew neckline to show off a shirt or jewellery. We’ve our usual mix of patterns for men, women and children on standard, LK-150 mid-gauge and chunky machines including a simple child’s cable cardigan from Anne Baker’s collection of Karabee Designs. Alison Dupernex has given bold stripes a makeover and her classy jacket is incredibly easy to knit. Make it for casual daytime dressing or as this year’s eveningwear hero! We also review Alison’s outstanding new book Creative Machine Knitting for knitters of all ages and abilities. Bill King explains how to use 2×1 industrial rib to knit power cables and the exceptional talent of Susan Guagliumi offers lots of free help and advice.
