Description
Our full-colour February 2021 issue has a cover design knitted from single balls of yarn and there’s no easier way to knit stripes! We always tell you how to knit all our patterns on standard gauge machines and we’ve our usual 12 or so designs. This month, Designer Spotlight shines on Alison Dupernex and her multi-size jacket uses as many colours as you wish. We also have a multi-size design for chunky machines, including the Bond, with an actual finished measurement range of 18 written sizes from bust or chest 76 to 162 cm (30 to 64 inches). Sally-Ann Carroll gives us some new ideas in Style File to start knitting again and we smile awhile with Joan Lafferty. Bill King designs some amazing fabrics, inspired by last month’s Gold Star pattern and we’ve repeated Bill’s very unusual Fan Dango design formed from stunning wedge shapes. Fay Butcher shows Passap knitters how to use the ‘slip’ setting to give a lacy look to their knitting and we’ve step-by-step photos for making an invisible join in a ribbed band. We always include news, reviews and club details and everyone has been knitting in lockdown so we’ve lots of letters from you with ideas, hints and tips.
